Long time no see!

It's been a bit quiet here on the blog, right? Here comes the reason... :-)

All together 28 days on the summer camps (more or less without Internet), one week vacation with a group of friends in Croatia, Krk, and 3 days trip to the highest mountain of Slovenia, Triglav 2 864m.

So, where to start...

The first summer camp was held on Nerezine in Croatian coast. On the paradise island, so beautiful it was! For the group of children there were 5 teachers of us: Mitja as a leader, Mateja, Mira, Tadeja and me. During the camp we had different activities for kids - going to the beach (twice a day when the weather was good), sports (volleyball, speedminton, badminton, twister, balinčki, football..), creative workshops (to make crafts, postcards, decorating bags, playing social games..) and on few rainy days we were watching a film. The place for camp was really great, sooooo beautiful beach and view! And it was possible to see that kids were really enjoying. :-)

All the group on last day :-)

The second camp was in Nerezine as well, after one week days off between. This camp was lead by Mateja, and as teachers there were also Mira, Špela, Patricija, Niko and me. The schedule was quit the same as on previous camp, but because there were also a group youth (15-17 years), we had some different activities for them and more free time. One of the last days was a "wrong day", when they became teachers, leading all the activities on that day and we were pretending to be kids. :-D

The third camp was held in Slovenian coast, Piran. Mitja as a leader, Damjan, Andreja, Monika and me as teachers. Again new nice group of kids, fun time we had! :-) I also like Piran as a place really much - it's small but has a lot to see.

For the last days Hungarian EVS-volunteer Balazs joined us to the camp. He's good at juggling, so we had a workshop of preparing juggling balls (balloons filled with rice), and then started to practice. :-)

On one day we had a huge storm started really suddenly, out of nowhere. After the storm the waves were still high, so we went to beach to see them - pictures below :-) Otherwise the weather was really perfect, if not even too hot...! 8)

It was an awesome chance to see all these three camps - each of them were different; new kids and teachers, various programs and activities. A great learning experience how to organize different programs and work with kids.
